To Infinity…

MY hopes for this site is to provide a medium to share and explore our world - while providing a forum for my own dialectic discussion (which I encourage anyone to join/comment/question). Currently I study at the University of Lethbridge - pursuing a combined degree in International Management and Political Science. I hope to finish soon so I can continue the adventure outside of the institution…

Being a Canadian I feel as though I have a unique background. My heritage lays with generations of immigrants - people searching for new futures, fleeing tyrannical government, seeking adventure and excitement - but most of all my history lies in the desire for change. Looking back on the history of those early settlers of Canada is exciting! Here were people from all over the world displacing themselves from the existence which contained them for so many centuries. Colonialism spurred the development of economic structures, and in turn new forms of government.. the rest is history, the result was Canada and the 32 million citizens residing throughout.  Now, we humans just about have this world figured out - its been mapped, explored, photographed, and the amazing thing is - we have expanded our influence beyond the Earth to the outer limits of our solar system.  What next?  I believe that depends on the imagination of our society.. most importantly is our ability to communicate effectively with one another.
